A North West based artist, Monika Skrzypkowska trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk with a Master of Arts in Sculpture specialising in ceramics. Monika's practice is rooted in the intersection of art, design, and spatial awareness. Her sculptures are often large-scale and site-specific, integrating seamlessly with their surroundings while maintaining a striking presence. Monika's work is defined by an interplay of color and texture, allowing each piece to engage the senses on a deeper level. She explores the potential of materials to shape space and perception, encouraging the viewer to see familiar elements in a new light. Nature remains a constant source of inspiration in her work, echoing the fluidity and harmony found in natural landscapes.

With public and private commissions in the USA, Abu Dhabi and Japan, Monika's art is about creating experiences. Each piece inviting contemplation, offering a glimpse into the possibilities of transformation and the power of
artistic expression.
